Or: 'Really boring. And bored: Mangelo has lost his energy.'
Mangelo seems to loose his interest in bashing Mozilla: his new article about Mozilla 1.3b is just copied from the one about Mozilla 1.3a.
Ok, all of his articles are mostly pasted from older ones (and he even admitted it recently), but rarely as completely and as full of errors as this time:
It is full of references to long-gone Mozilla milestones - but
obviously when the text was originally written, it was meant as reference to the
current release. Some parts are confused as crazy, let me quote one:
What's New in Mozilla 1.3a and 1.3b.
Here is what is new in Mozilla 1.3a according to the Mozilla 1.3a Release Notes:
What's New in Mozilla 1.3b

This is exactly what can be currently read on his page. Of course sooner or later after
one of his regular visits to my page he will correct it, but as of now (11-Feb-2003, 5:00PST) everybody can check it by
simply going to his page.
Another funny thing is that he has to admit that the number of open crash bug reports in bugzilla
has been decreasing towards Mozilla 1.3b - under the caption "Crash Bugs Up in Mozilla 1.3a"!
My rebuttal of his article about Mozilla 1.2b shows how that one also consisted almost entirely in parts
of his older articles, so please go there and read if you still don't believe it.
So what does he write?
Well, you've probably come here to read what Mangelo wrote and
why this is mostly (if not entirely) nonsense, misinformation and lies.
Because he was too lazy to create any
new content (apart from quoting the official release notes), I'm afraid,
I can't tell you any news. And I'm not willing to just copy my old
articles in response to Mangelo copying his old articles.
But in case you really want to know about him and the latest article, I've got some guide prepared for you:
Everything in his article was already written in his latest two articles. So you might want to first read my rebuttals of his article about Mozilla 1.3a or Mozilla 1.0.2.
However, as those articles are also copied, I did not refer to
all of his sentences in my rebuttals. If you really want him rebutted
sentence by sentence you can check out my my rebuttal of his Mozilla 1.2 article or other older articles on the index page.
If you just want to be generally informed about Mozillaquest, you better read my article about him first. Then, for some closer view, it would be best to read my article about his everlasting bug-counting and why this is absolutely misleading.
Mangelos time is over
Yes, I think it is. Mozilla is now a widely used, everywhere accepted
and pretty nice and solid application more than ready for everyday use.
Everything Mangelo wrote is rebutted, every new thing he (though
rarely) writes is more a lie than the last thing - and this is clear
when Mozilla becomes better and better but he must find worse things
every time to say about Mozilla in his desparate try to get the
attention of anybody.
His recent articles are worse than ever: so badly written (er, I mean:
copied), so full of obvious lies and misinformation that I'd rather
like to avoid the use of the word "quality" at all when I want to
express the lack of it.
Moreover, during the last about 6-8 months one could almost feel how he
lost interest in writing his articles more and more. Mozilla 1.0 made
him write even various articles, during summer/autumn he at least added
some sentences here and there (but getting less) when he recycled his
old articles.
One flicker of life when he was pleased to announce that Mozilla 1.2
was revoked in favour of 1.2.1. But the last few articles were just
poor, almost mechanically written, without emotion (apart from the
exclamation marks that were typed earlier this year and then copied and
copied from one article to the next)..
He never liked sticking to the truth, but now he does not even attempt to pretend anymore.
Mangelo, do yourself and the world a favor and shut up.
